BSNL Cellone – Post paid mobile bill search

You will be able to search your mobile bills(post paid), along with account number in bsnl site. (I tried in BSNL Kerala Circle Site.) There is also an option to enquire your landline bill and I  tried that.

It gave out some sort of error(connection error) and the fact is that they are trying to connect to an ip(and not a domain(http://210.212.237.102/register/). The Error may occured because of any network congestion, or technical glitch. Now everything is back to normal.

2. India reached the peak of glory being number 2 in spamming. (actually retained its title)

3. Intel to buy Infineon for around $1.4 bn

4. Paul Allen Sues big names in silicon valley.

5. Face book started to savor the sweetness of top spot in India.

6. NIIT and Tally to be together for SMB(for Tally.ERP 9.0).

7. War between HP and Dell continuing over 3Par Inc. (HP have raised the offering to $2 bn.

8. Google to challenge Skype with new Phone call service.

9. Patni, Alcacent-Lucent, Dell India have new names in top management.

other things like, IE9 leak, diggs redisgn, …etc.

Indian railway – enquiry and booking online

#1: Where can I check the Time table of trains?

#3: Where can I book tickets?

#4: Is there any restrictions in number of transactions through IRCTC?
##: Yes, Maximum of 10 transaction a month.

#5: What happens if I am not confirmed, and chart is prepared? I have booked through IRCTC.
##: You get a full refund in this case and amount will be refunded to your online account/ credit/debit card which you have used for booking. In this case please make sure that you don’t board the train as it will be considered as ticket less travel.

#6: How can I submit a TDR(Ticket Deposit receipt) when booked through IRCTC.?
##: There is an option in IRCTC login, use that, and before submitting make sure that you are submitting the correct ticket with correct reason specified. There is a maximum time limit of one month from the ticket date/journey date for submitting TDR.

#7: What are the valid id’s needed to travel with an e ticket in train?
##: e-Ticket printout along with any one from the identity cards like Voter Identity Card / Passport / PAN Card / Driving License / Photo ID card issued by Central / State Govt /Student Identity Card with photograph issued by recognized School or College for their students /Nationalized Bank Passbook with photograph /Credit Cards issued by Banks with laminated photograph, are required to travel. the absence of any of these two(ticket and id card) will attract a fine.

#8: Is there a specific number which I can call / SMS to know the PNR status and other information on train?
##: Yes, just dial/ sms 139

  • Discussion on Rupee symbol and its downloads are still on.
