Tech Updates Round

July 1st, 2011

Reuters reported that Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of “Facebook” have told the media that there would be an awesome feature that will be launched in face book. That too next week. The feature will be most probably for the mobile or tablet arena. No comments or updates from the spokes person in Facebook.

Google rolled out Google+(Google plus) service, but stopped invitation to this new social media.

Huawei and IISc Bangalore signed an MOU for testing telecom equipments and hardware. the new setup may be christened as “Center for Telecom testing and Security Certification”

The proposed centre would formulate standards and policies as well as provide facilities for testing, validation and security certification for various network elements in order to render the networks secure and less vulnerable from internal and external threats. The center would also involve creation of test bed facilities and capacity building for networks’ security so that each network element is tested and validated before integration with the networks.
